Fatal Marion County crash death of Stephen Lauderdale – Obituary

A tragic single-vehicle crash in Marion County, Alabama, on the night of November 10, 2024, claimed the life of 46-year-old Stephen K. Lauderdale from Phil Campbell. Lauderdale was driving a 2007 Honda CR-V on Alabama 172 near Tessner Road when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway. The Honda struck a tree, overturned down an embankment, and collided with a fence. Lauderdale was found the following day and pronounced dead at the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing the investigation.
