Gerald Barnes, 59, died in a house fire on November 12, 2024, in Toledo, Ohio. The fire broke out early in the morning, around 5:15 a.m., at a residence located on the 1400 block of Jermain Drive, near the I-475/I-75 split.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames on the first floor, and Barnes was found dead at the scene. Authorities have stated that foul play does not appear to be a factor, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
