Fatal Birmingham car crash death of Dawson Lee Ray – Obituary

Dawson Lee Ray, a 22-year-old man from Bessemer, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on the evening of December 4, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama. The crash occurred around 8:39 p.m. in the 3500 block of Lakeshore Parkway, when Ray’s vehicle collided with another.

Ray was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:58 p.m. A passenger in the second vehicle was taken to UAB Hospital, where they were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and it remains unclear whether any charges will be filed.
