Fatal north Lincoln crash death of William Deckard – Obituary

William Deckard, 63, from Lincoln, tragically passed away on April 18 following a crash near the intersection of 56th and Fletcher Avenue. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. when Deckard, driving a Nissan Xterra southbound on 56th Street, made a left turn onto Fletcher Avenue and was struck by a northbound Chevy Tahoe. Deckard died at the scene of the accident.

The 24-year-old driver of the Chevy Tahoe sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. No citations have been issued as the investigation into the crash continues.
