Jaxin Lee dies in fatal Edwards County pedestrian accident

Fatal Edwards County pedestrian death of Jaxin Lee – Obituary

Jaxin Lee, a 22-year-old resident of Grayville, was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Friday night in Edwards County.

According to the Edwards County Coroner’s Office, the crash took place along Illinois Route 30 northbound, near the intersection with East 1725 N Road.

Authorities say the vehicle involved, a pickup truck, was heading north on IL30 when it struck Lee, who was in the roadway just south of the intersection. The driver has been identified as 20-year-old Bryton Steber from West Salem.

The Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
