Fatal Modoc Road crash death of Edgar Rojas Reveles – Obituary

Edgar Rojas Reveles, a 19-year-old man from Goleta, tragically lost his life in a solo vehicle crash on Modoc Road near Santa Barbara.

The incident occurred on April 17, when Reveles, driving a GMC Terrain, attempted to pass another vehicle by crossing the double yellow lines.

He lost control on a wet road, causing the vehicle to overturn. Although no other vehicles were directly involved, his car collided with an Audi A4 and struck a Toyota Camry.

Reveles was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The 87-year-old driver of the Audi sustained significant injuries. Authorities have ruled out drugs and alcohol as contributing factors in the crash.
