Fatal Shelby County car crash death of Adrienne N. Holderby – Obituary

Adrienne N. Holderby, an 86-year-old woman from Chelsea, Alabama, lost her life in a two-vehicle accident that took place Thursday afternoon in Shelby County.

According to Alabama State Troopers, the collision happened at approximately 1:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 280 in Chelsea. Holderby was driving a Honda Accord when her vehicle was struck by a GMC Sierra 2500, operated by 54-year-old Thomas D. Hopkins of Wilsonville.

Emergency responders arrived on scene and pronounced Holderby dead. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by state troopers.
