Scott Trisler, a 54-year-old resident of Duncan, South Carolina, passed away on Friday after sustaining injuries from a multi-vehicle collision that occurred earlier this month.

According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, Trisler died at Spartanburg Medical Center, where he had been hospitalized following a crash that took place on May 6. The accident involved three vehicles and happened along Highway 290 near the intersection with E. Danzler Road in Duncan.

Officials have confirmed that a forensic examination is scheduled for Saturday to further investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
