Fatal Iberville Parish car crash death of Sky Valenciano – Obituary

Sky Valenciano, 31, from Patterson, was fatally injured in a vehicle accident in Iberville Parish.

According to officials, Valenciano was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer heading south on LA 77 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road to the left and collided with a utility pole.

Valenciano was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle upon impact. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A front seat passenger, who was restrained, suffered only minor injuries.

At this time, impairment is not believed to be a factor, but a routine toxicology test has been conducted and will be analyzed.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
