Fatal Fairfax County, Virginia crash death of Lacquora Smith – Obituary

Lacquora Smith, a 28-year-old woman from Alfred, Maine, tragically lost her life in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 66 near the Capital Beltway interchange in Fairfax County, Virginia. The accident occurred early Thursday morning around 3 a.m. when Smith, who was driving a Honda Crosstour carrying five passengers, lost control of the vehicle. The crash involved an SUV and a tractor-trailer.

Smith and her two daughters, 4-year-old Kennedy Smith and 6-year-old Kyson Smith, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other children, aged 2 and 7, were hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening. Additionally, the SUV driver sustained minor injuries while the tractor-trailer driver was unharmed.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
