Fatal Cleveland shooting death of Thomas Overall and Bryan Hurt – Obituary

A tragic murder-suicide unfolded Wednesday afternoon on Cleveland’s west side, resulting in the deaths of two men, 68-year-old Thomas Overall and 66-year-old Bryan Hurt.

The Cleveland Division of Police reported that officers from the First District responded to a shooting call near the 15700 block of Munn Road around 1:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Thomas Overall lying in the street with a gunshot wound and confirmed his death at the scene.

Following the initial discovery, police searched the surrounding area and located a vehicle connected to the incident. Inside, they found Bryan Hurt, who had inflicted a fatal self-shot wound on himself. He was also pronounced dead at the location.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the two men and confirmed the sequence of events as a murder-suicide. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
