Dontay Tyrone Johnson dies in fatal Rosamond car crash
Fatal Rosamond car crash death of Dontay Tyrone Johnson – Obituary
Dontay Tyrone Johnson, 48, of Lancaster, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident in Rosamond on the evening of June 1, 2025, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the crash occurred at approximately 8:52 p.m. on Sierra Highway, just south of Patterson Road. Johnson was behind the wheel when his vehicle collided with a telephone pole.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Johnson was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
