Federico Gonzalez dies in fatal San Antonio pedestrian accident

Fatal San Antonio pedestrian accident death of Federico Gonzalez – Obituary

Federico Gonzalez, a 20-year-old man from San Antonio, tragically lost his life in a pedestrian accident on Saturday, June 7, around 1:50 a.m. The incident occurred on Loop 410 near Perrin Beitel. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Gonzalez had left a nearby dance hall and was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by a Toyota Tundra.

Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tundra, identified as 42-year-old Joseph Cortez, stopped near the I-35 exit. Upon evaluation, Cortez was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
