Kari Parsons dies in fatal Chattanooga car crash

Fatal Chattanooga car crash death of Kari Parsons – Obituary

Kari Parsons, 41, lost her life Friday afternoon in a tragic two-vehicle accident on Highway 58 in Chattanooga, as confirmed by her family via a GoFundMe page.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. in the 4700 block of Highway 58. According to Chattanooga Police, a Kia Sorento was heading southbound when, for reasons still under investigation, it veered across the centerline and slammed head-on into a northbound GMC 2500HD.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Traffic Unit is continuing to investigate the crash to determine what caused the Kia to cross into oncoming traffic.
