Fatal Sacramento crash death of William Gonzalez – Obituary
William Gonzalez, 29, was killed early Sunday morning after being thrown from a moving truck that crashed into a tree in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident occurred around 4:20 a.m. along the southbound side of Interstate 5, just south of Florin Road. Authorities say Gonzalez was a passenger in a 2024 Penske truck driven by a 36-year-old man.
For reasons that remain unknown, the driver veered off the highway after making an unsafe turning movement. The vehicle then slammed into a tree, causing Gonzalez to be ejected from the truck.
