Anthony B. Maxwell dies in fatal Lawrence County motorcycle crash

Fatal Lawrence County motorcycle crash death of Anthony B. Maxwell – Obituary

Anthony B. Maxwell, a 42-year-old man from Town Creek, Alabama, lost his life in a head-on collision involving his motorcycle late Tuesday night in Lawrence County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Maxwell was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson on Lawrence County Road 143 near the intersection with Lawrence County Road 141 around 10:08 p.m. when his motorcycle collided head-on with a 2014 Dodge Durango.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Maxwell was declared dead on-site as a result of his injuries.

The incident is currently being investigated by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division as officials work to determine the cause of the crash.
