Winndell Johnson, a 22-year-old resident of Palmdale, tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Avenue O near 185th Street East. The accident happened late on May 31 at approximately 10:35 p.m. Johnson suffered blunt force traumatic injuries that proved fatal, as confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s office.

California Highway Patrol reported that Johnson was walking eastbound when he was hit by a car.
