Fatal Boise bicycle crash death of Colin Gray

Colin Gray, a 54-year-old bicyclist from Boise, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on State Street late Friday night, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. between Roe Street and Bogart Lane. The Boise Police Department and the Ada County Coroner’s Office reported that Gray was attempting to cross State Street when he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound.

Emergency crews transported Gray to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Despite medical efforts, he died in the emergency room within an hour due to blunt-force injuries.

The Boise Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
