A tragic incident occurred early in the week when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Phoenix, resulting in a fatal outcome. The event unfolded on the morning of June 30 near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Camelback Road. According to authorities, the collision happened approximately at 2:15 a.m., and the individual involved was crossing the street mid-block without using a designated crosswalk.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. They discovered Bilgee Elamin, a 24-year-old woman, lying on the road.
