The county’s official who examines deaths declared that three people lost their lives in this tragic event. They were thrown from a pickup truck that suddenly sped up and collided with another pickup truck not far from Lancaster. This occurred at the intersection of state Route 138 and 110th Street West in Antelope Acres, as per the official report from the highway patrol agency.
Three individuals, whose lives were tragically taken, were identified as Vanessa Gonzalez-Gabriel, who was 38 years old, Abdias Gabriel-Fernandez at 49 years, and Ruby Gabriel. The law enforcement agency stated that the Chevrolet Colorado vehicle they were in speedily moved forward from a stop sign and intruded upon the path of a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck.
Further details provided by the authorities indicate that a second young person, who was also in the Colorado pickup, was transported by ambulance to a medical center in Antelope Valley. This person was immediately taken into surgery due to serious injuries. Meanwhile, the operator of the Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck was taken to the same hospital but suffered only slight injuries and was not considered a fatality.
The incident was captured on film by a witness in another vehicle, offering evidence of the collision. The responsible agency confirmed that no legal actions will be pursued in connection with this accident.
