Ellen Dilling Jones dies in fatal Jackson County shooting

Fatal Jackson County shooting death of full name of deceased victim Ellen Dilling Jones

Jackson County law enforcement officials announced they were dispatched to a tragic shooting scene. Responding around midday on July 3, officers found two individuals injured outside a residence on Broom Road. A firearm was located near the location.

Investigators confirmed one individual as Christopher Lee Bowman, aged 60, and identified the other as Ellen Dilling Jones, aged 71. After a comprehensive probe, authorities revealed Bowman shot Jones, subsequently taking his own life with the weapon.

The authorities have not yet determined the reasons behind this incident.
