Seventeen-year-old Abdullah Mohammad Al Husain lost his life after the car he was driving lost control and crashed onto a palm tree on East Palomar Street in Chula Vista, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. This occurred during the evening hours of July 28th, around 7:30 p.m., and the teenager did not survive the injuries he sustained before emergency services arrived on the scene.

The details of this fatal traffic incident indicate that Mr. Al Husain was operating a sedan and that the vehicle departed the roadway, subsequently impacting a palm tree. This unfortunate event led to his immediate death, preventing the need for transport to a medical facility.

In a separate but equally tragic occurrence within San Diego County during the same week, authorities announced the identification of two individuals who perished in motor vehicle accidents. Among them was 79-year-old Chong Kil Kim, a resident of Valley Center. Mr. Kim met his demise when the SUV he was piloting collided with multiple other vehicles on southbound Interstate 15, north of Camino Del Norte in Rancho Penasquitos. His death was instantaneous, occurring directly at the location of the collision.
