According to local news sources, the violent incident took place shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of 14th Place and Paloma Street. An LAPD representative confirmed that four additional individuals, including two males in their late teens and early twenties, were transported to a medical center and are currently in critical condition. Three other people, aged 26, 28, and 62, along with a 28-year-old female, were taken to hospitals and are said to be in stable condition.
Media outlets suggest the shooting incident could be connected to a disagreement that occurred at a storage building party. Some reports indicate it might have been a follow-up event following the conclusion of the HARD Summer music festival, which was held at Hollywood Park.
