A car accident in Oneida has resulted in the deaths of two individuals. Local authorities report that one vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree in a forested region, igniting a fire that trapped the drivers inside.

Bystanders, including some construction workers in the vicinity, provided immediate aid by attempting to put out the flames and assist the people within the burning vehicle before help arrived. Nevertheless, the injured occupants were pronounced dead at the scene despite these efforts.

The identities of the deceased have been confirmed as Beckyjo A. Kehrer, aged 52 from Canastota, and Tammy A. Goodwin, aged 55 from Eaton. The Oneida Police Department expressed sympathy for the families and friends of the victims during this challenging period.
