Clinton Anderson dies in fatal Jeffersontown car crash

Fatal Jeffersontown car crash death of Clinton Anderson

A tragic incident claimed the life of a local man Monday evening. Louisville Metro Police reports responding officers were dispatched to a collision on Taylorsville Road, specifically the 14000 block, around 8:50 p.m.

When officers arrived and interviewed people who had seen the event, they determined a vehicle was traveling westbound on that road. The driver then lost control, leaving the roadway and striking a tree head-on.

Emergency medical services and the Jeffersontown Fire Department arrived quickly. Crews carefully removed the man from the damaged car. Unfortunately, authorities confirmed he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation led to the identification of the deceased by Jefferson County Coroner officials. The man, Clinton Anderson, was 42 years old. Police noted he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The incident report stated no other vehicles were involved.
