Fatal Kennewick car crash death of Donald S. Scott

A man from Kennewick tragically lost his life in a serious accident on the I-90 freeway shortly after the stroke of midnight on Friday. The preliminary report indicated the incident occurred just west of the Vantage Bridge, pinpointed near milepost 131.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Mr. Scott was driving his 2004 Jeep Cherokee towards the eastbound lanes of the highway. Tragically, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a dirt bank. The car subsequently rolled several times before coming to a stop, ending up displaced from the roadway.

Mr. Scott, who was 62 years old, did not survive the collision and passed away at the scene. The accident, located approximately 25 miles east of Ellensburg, is currently being examined by the State Patrol. Officials have mentioned that substance influence or impairment by alcohol is currently being looked into as a potential contributing factor.

The involved Jeep Cherokee sustained extensive damage and was subsequently transported away from the site by Dean’s Towing service for proper disposal.
