Fatal Winston-Salem, N.C. car crash death of Reginald Carson

Law enforcement reported the demise of an individual on Saturday evening, following a collision on N. Patterson Avenue around 11:45 p.m. The deceased has been identified as Reginald Carson, a 67-year-old.

According to those who are looking into the matter, Carson was attached to a vehicle’s passenger section via an open window while it was moving southbound along N. Patterson Avenue. This particular car then reduced its speed, which caused Carson to be pulled over onto the opposite side of the road’s traffic lanes.

Another motorist, whose eyes apparently missed seeing Carson in time, drove over the victim, resulting in his death. Those examining the circumstances indicated they have no information regarding the reason why Carson was clinging to that other vehicle’s interior.

At this point, no formal legal actions have been recorded in connection with this occurrence. The authorities from the city’s Traffic Enforcement division are currently examining the situation. It remains uncertain whether there were any other people involved in the accident.
