Fatal Lubbock car crash death of Ruiz Pardo and Alexandra Ordaz
The Lubbock Police Department issued a statement indicating that a car accident during the night led to two fatalities and one person with injuries, and it occurred in the southwest region of Lubbock.
Police reported that the collision transpired in proximity to 64th and Milwaukee Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Upon emergency responders’ arrival at the location, officers located Ruiz Pardo, who was 28 years old and had been thrown partially from his vehicle.
Pardo was airlifted to University Medical Center by ambulance, where medical examiners later confirmed his death.
Additionally, the car’s passenger, identified as Alexandra Ordaz, who was 31, was similarly ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The operator of another passenger car, Jimmy Janssen, aged 34, incurred significant injuries and was taken to the same medical center.
According to law enforcement, Janssen was moving north on Milwaukee Avenue in the 6600 block at a rapid pace, while Pardo was heading south on the 6300 block and was in the process of turning east towards a convenience store parking lot when the vehicles collided, resulting in Pardo’s car striking a utility pole.
