Fatal Harrison Township, Pa. car crash death of Roxanne Bonnoni

Emerging evidence provides new insights into a fatal traffic incident that took the life of an 11-year-old girl one year ago. On August 20, 2024, the young girl, Roxanne Bonnoni, was involved in a collision that led to her untimely demise. Initially, law enforcement reported that the vehicle operator stayed at the scene, but further investigation revealed details about the driver’s actions. Court documents indicate that the driver, a 65-year-old man named Jeffrey Glowatski, consumed twelve alcoholic beverages between 2:45 p.m. and the time of the accident at 7:20 p.m. He was also observed leaving a nearby establishment shortly before the crash.

Tests later showed that Glowatski’s blood alcohol concentration was more than double the legal standard. A local resident, Colby Henry, expressed shock over the impairment, stating that comprehending the extent of his intoxication was deeply unsettling. He is currently facing multiple charges, primarily related to driving under the influence or negligence, but none of these accusations directly link him to causing Roxanne’s death. The family’s legal representative, Fred Rabner, believes the tragedy could have been prevented and emphasized that the lack of homicide charges stems from technical legal reasons, though the family feels his sobriety might have averted the incident.

Despite this, community members remain unsatisfied. Henry argued that the charges are inadequate and should include more serious offenses for taking a life. Another neighbor, Tasha Williams, described the event as essentially murder, with no alternative explanation offered. Copyright 2025 WPXI via CNN Newsource. All rights reserved.
