The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of the individual killed in a hit-and-run incident involving a vehicle. The deceased, Blair A. Sawyer, a 27-year-old male, passed away as a result of trauma from physical impact sustained during the collision.
Investigators from Louisville Metro police state that the accident transpired at approximately 9:45 in the evening at the junction of Chamberlain Lane and Chamberlain Court. According to their report, the motor vehicle entered the intersection, made contact with the victim, and then departed the scene without halting to offer aid or assistance.
Following the incident, emergency services conveyed Mr. Sawyer to University of Louisville Hospital. Medical professionals confirmed that he later succumbed to his injuries.
