Law enforcement agencies are examining the circumstances following the discovery of a male individual deceased on July 20 in a region close to U.S. Forest Service Road 43, situated north of Carson. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially recognized the deceased as being twenty-year-old Jacob DeSha, who resides in Carson, and has determined that his demise was the result of a homicide incident. The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement indicating that the public is currently not in any danger. Ongoing inquiries by detectives involve collecting information from the public regarding any unfamiliar individuals or motor vehicles observed in the specified time frame, spanning from July 1 to July 20, in the southern-east part of Road 43 and the Hemlock Stabler vicinity north of Carson.
