Officials have confirmed the identity of the man killed Saturday night in Montgomery County as Patrick Adam Smith, aged 30, from Bowie. Associated reports detail an incident where a motorcyclist met with a fatal collision.

The collision occurred on New Hampshire Avenue, specifically in the 22000 block near Brookeville, at approximately 6:17 p.m. According to the police statement, Smith was operating a black Triumph motorcycle at the time of the incident and struck a silver 2013 BMW 128i. Following the accident, emergency personnel pronounced Smith deceased at the scene. The operator of the BMW vehicle involved was not injured.
