Fatal WALHALLA car crash death of STEVEN PAUL HENDERSON
The Oconee County Coroner’s office announced Thursday that a Spartanburg County Sheriff’s captain, STEVEN PAUL HENDERSON, has died following injuries sustained in an accident in WALHALLA.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:18 p.m. A motorcycle driver crossed the center line on Highway 183 heading north and collided directly with an SUV.
The rider of the motorcycle, identified as the 49-year-old STEVEN PAUL HENDERSON from DUNCAN, passed away at the scene. The SUV driver was transported to a hospital by emergency medical services.
