According to Arkansas State Police reports, a woman from Gassville has died following a collision in Baxter County. The identity of the deceased, who was 45 years old, has been confirmed. Emergency services noted that other individuals involved in the incident sustained injuries.

Details provided by troopers indicate the accident took place at 6:05 p.m. on August 16 at a junction involving U.S. Highway 62 and County Road 1160. The 45-year-old individual, identified as Amanda Dickerson, was operating a 2011 Chevrolet vehicle traveling south on County Road 1160. Police stated she did not yield appropriately and was subsequently hit on the driver’s side by a 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck heading westbound along U.S. Highway 62.

Local emergency medical services responded to the scene and conveyed the injured individuals to a hospital in Springfield for medical treatment.
