Jennifer Dangerfield dies in fatal Moncks Corner car crash
Fatal Moncks Corner car crash death of Jennifer Dangerfield
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office announced the identity of the individual who lost their life in the Saturday afternoon accident.
According to Coroner Kelly Powell, Jennifer Dangerfield, a resident of Bonneau who was 44 years old, passed away as a result of the injuries received in the collision.
Sergeant Tyler Tidwell reported that the crash occurred around 3:02 p.m. on US-17A, located near the intersection with Old Cherry Hill Road in Moncks Corner.
Tidwell added that the involved vehicles were a 1998 Toyota RAV4, traveling southbound on US-17A, and a 2016 Nissan Frontier, moving northbound.
The driver of the RAV4, Jennifer Dangerfield, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the passenger in the RAV4 was transported to Trident Medical Center with reported injuries.
As of now, there is no information available about the condition of the passenger from the RAV4 or the driver of the Nissan Frontier. Both the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
