Fatal Raleigh car crash death of Nazirah Eason

Early Sunday morning authorities responded to a serious vehicle collision in Raleigh. Responding officers arrived at the busy intersection of Six Forks and Lassiter Mill roads shortly after 2:45 a.m. Their initial assessment revealed considerable damage to a white pickup truck involved in the incident, alongside a Dodge Journey.

Investigators identified the deceased as 22-year-old Nazirah Eason. According to preliminary findings from law enforcement, Ms. Eason, who was operating the Dodge vehicle, failed to stop at a traffic signal before the collision. The impact forcefully ejected her from the vehicle and onto the adjacent lanes of Six Forks Road. Medical personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The collision resulted in the temporary closure of the intersection near the North Hills area. By late afternoon, officials reported that the affected roadways had been cleared and were reopened to traffic. Law enforcement stated there would be no criminal charges brought against anyone in connection with this incident and provided no additional information regarding potential injuries.
