Fatal east Oak Cliff car crash death of Alana Gomez, Analiz Rachel Guzman Gomez and Mariangela Sosa

Dallas County medical examiners have confirmed the identities of three people who perished in a multi-car collision. The accident involved multiple vehicles and occurred in the early morning hours near East Clarendon Drive and North Street in east Oak Cliff. The three individuals killed were Alana Gomez, who was an infant; Analiz Rachel Guzman Gomez, who was the infant’s mother; and Mariangela Sosa, who was 25 years old.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials, the incident happened around 8 a.m. on August 13th. A spokesperson for the fire department confirmed that the accident involved two vehicles. Details regarding the specific circumstances leading to the crash are still under investigation by authorities.

Nine people were involved in the accident, with two adults and four children receiving injuries. These individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment, but their identities have not been released. The newly appointed Dallas inspector general could face removal after the city reportedly mishandled its hiring procedures.
