Sheriff deputies from Orange County are examining the death of a 61-year-old woman who was discovered inside her house on Thursday morning in Vidor. Authorities were alerted via a 911 call reporting an unresponsive individual, prompting officers to respond to the 300 block of Foxglove Drive. Upon arrival, the deputies found the deceased inside the residence and confirmed her identity as Bami Elizabeth Carmane.

Following a thorough examination of the scene, the deputies concluded that Ms. Carmane’s death was not the result of natural causes, indicating a suspicious circumstance.

Investigators have identified Adrian Ceasar Echevarria, a 48-year-old man, as a person of interest in this case. He was questioned by officials and subsequently arrested on unrelated charges related to state and federal parole violations. Cevarria was processed at the Orange County Jail.
