Law enforcement officials report that three individuals have been apprehended following a fatal shooting inside a residence in eastern Vermont during the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to state police, emergency services were alerted around 3:50 a.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call reporting unusual activity at a home located on Verna Court in the town of Hartford. Upon their arrival, responding officers discovered a male occupant deceased and a female resident suffering from several gunshot injuries. Demetrius Drew, who is thirty years old and resides in New Haven, Connecticut, faces charges including first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and an aggravated assault accusation involving a deadly weapon.
Additionally, Jeffrey Mullins, aged forty-six, and Michelle Mullins, who is forty-eight, both residents of Rindge, New Hampshire, have been charged as accessories prior to the commission of the crime.
All three suspects are currently being held without the possibility of release pending their arraignments scheduled for the same day in the Vermont Superior Court.
