Law enforcement officials have confirmed the identity of the man who passed away on the early morning of August 22nd. This man, Charles Davis, was 58 years old, and the Bellmead authorities have informed his family about his death.

The emergency services, including police and fire teams, arrived at the scene around 5:32 a.m. on Friday, August 22nd. The location was the 900 block of North Loop 340.

According to the initial assessment from the responding officers, the person involved was a pedestrian. They reported that Mr. Davis was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle. The direction of travel for the car was southbound. It’s noted that the driver of the car was not hurt in this accident.

Mr. Davis did not survive the collision and was pronounced dead right there at the spot where it happened.
