Fatal Shreveport car crash death of Kendrick Williams.

A biker lost their life on Saturday afternoon when an apparently under the influence driver crashed into their vehicle at a city intersection. The incident, involving a collision, occurred in Shreveport and resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.

Kendrick Williams, who was 41 years old, was injured just after 5 p.m. and was transported by emergency medical technicians from the local fire department to Ochsner LSU Health. Tragically, his fatal injuries were pronounced shortly after arrival at 5:34 p.m.

The driver of the involved sedan was Victoria Jones, identified as 22 years old. She operated a Toyota Camry and suffered no physical harm in the accident. However, authorities from the Shreveport Police Department confirmed that she was directed to their Department of Motor Vehicles impairment office, where evidence from field sobriety tests and preliminary evaluations suggested she was legally intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Legal proceedings could include charges of vehicular homicide or related offenses against Jones, as her alleged impairment may be considered a contributing factor in the fatal collision.

Investigators from the Shreveport Police detailed that the Camry, traveling southbound on Broadway Avenue near the Shreveport Regional Airport, collided with the Suzuki motorcycle, which was moving westbound on Tate Street. The wreckage was located on the southwest corner of the intersection. Following the accident, the Caddo Coroner’s Office was notified and performed the official identification of Kendrick Williams’s body.
