Fatal Baton Rouge car crash death of Scotty Greensberry

Law enforcement authorities in Baton Rouge have charged an individual with a serious offense following an incident where a vehicle reportedly collided with a motorcycle and the driver fled the scene.

The local police division dispatched officers to the location of the accident on Saturday, the 23rd of August.

Investigators are of the opinion that the collision involving the motorcycle occurred approximately five minutes before ten in the early evening, at a junction in the 2100 block area of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard, intersecting North Harrels Ferry Road.

The individual operating the Kawasaki motorcycle, identified as Scotty Greensberry who was 39 years old, sustained severe injuries and did not survive despite hospital treatment.

A specialized traffic investigation unit has been assigned to this case.

Shortly after the event, around 11:30 p.m., a member of the public contacted the authorities claiming involvement in the accident.

This person was identified as Enrique Miranda. Police reports indicate he consented to provide information and confessed to driving a 2011 Mercedes 350 during the collision with the motorcycle.
