Fatal Adelaide cliff fall death of Stephen Queen
A 34-year-old Adelaide resident, Stephen Queen, has tragically died after falling from a height in Morialta Conservation Park. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, approximately 12:30 pm. Police reports indicate that Mr. Queen was walking with a companion near Deep View Lookout when he climbed over a barrier barrier in pursuit of a plastic container, before losing his footing and falling. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at the popular hiking location but were unable to save the man. He was pronounced dead at the site. Mr. Queen leaves behind his family, remembered as a devoted father.
An online source notes the lookout point is situated at roughly 265 meters above sea level. The emotional tribute described him as a loving father figure, a man cherished by his young children. The cause of death was confirmed as resulting from the fall itself. Authorities are currently reviewing the circumstances surrounding the accident, particularly the decision to scale the barrier. The Morialta Conservation Park, a well-known destination for outdoor enthusiasts, is now closed temporarily for a safety assessment.
