Fatal Queens car crash death of Bishinu Madray-Mootoo

Law enforcement is probing a deadly traffic collision on the Cross Island Parkway that happened Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, a 1999 BMW driving north on the parkway in the left lane collided with a barrier, then crossed over three lanes, impacted a concrete center divider, and flipped onto its roof near the Exit 31 area at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported a 24-year-old man, identified as Bishinu Madray-Mootoo, to a nearby medical facility where he was confirmed deceased. An unidentified passenger from the vehicle did not remain at the location.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with this incident. The investigation is still underway.
