Officials reported a tragic incident on Friday morning in the Archer Heights region of Chicago, resulting in the death of a Wisconsin resident. The specific details were provided by authorities.
The fatal act occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of West 49th Street and South Archer Avenue. According to police, an individual approached the vehicle where the 33-year-old man was seated, retrieved a firearm, and discharged several shots. This unfortunate event took place outside a Southwest Side motel.
Following the shooting, the injured man, Kewan Clark, who was struck multiple times in the torso, was taken by emergency services to Mt. Sinai Hospital. Medical professionals at Cook County’s examination facility later confirmed that the cause of death was the gunshot wounds he sustained.
Kewan Clark, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was identified as the deceased.
