Fatal Temecula car crash death of Nicholas Callans

Law enforcement officials from Riverside County have officially identified one of the four individuals killed during a traffic incident on California’s Interstate 15 over the weekend.

Nicholas Callans, registered to Wildomar and aged 36, was confirmed deceased at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar approximately thirty-five minutes subsequent to the collision.

Emergency reports indicate the collision occurred at 9:33 p.m. on Saturday. According to the California Highway Patrol, the event began when a black BMW M4, being operated by a 25-year-old male from Moreno Valley, drove erratically along the northbound lanes of I-15. This vehicle swerved left, crossed the freeway’s concrete median barrier, and collided directly with the path of a white sedan driven by Callans.

The incident transpired roughly one mile north of Winchester Road.

Rescue personnel removed the BMW driver from the severely damaged vehicle. He was then transported to a regional medical center where he received treatment for significant injuries. The authorities did not release his identity.
