Fatal Meeker County car crash death of Nolan Henke
A fatal car accident occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday. Authorities reported the incident.
Nolan Henke, whose age was nineteen and who resided in Dassel, was pronounced deceased at the crash location. Elijah Miller, also nineteen and from Cokato, was confirmed as the driver. He was transported by helicopter, suffering from serious injuries requiring immediate medical attention. Miller was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
The collision was initially reported at approximately 3:05 a.m. Sunday. The designated spot was the intersection of County Road 6 and 746th Avenue, located within Collinwood Township, a position south of Dassel.
Initial investigation revealed the involved car was proceeding west on County Road 6. This vehicle then lost control, departing the road and hitting a telephone pole on its passenger side.
Emergency personnel had to free both Miller and Henke from the vehicle.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office had support from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, Dassel Fire and Rescue, Cokato Fire and Rescue, Cokato Ambulance, Mayo Ambulance, and LifeLink at the crash site.
The sheriff’s office indicated the accident is still under investigation.
