Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Grant Clemo, a 43-year-old resident of Burlington, was killed in a recent accident.

According to the Bristol Police Department’s news release, Clemo was operating a motorcycle on Burlington Avenue near Cindy Lane when the incident occurred on Sunday evening.

Initial reports from the authorities indicate that one of the motorcycle riders involved failed to handle a curve properly, leading to the crash. The injured operator was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:55 p.m. The other motorcyclist was not seriously hurt and was able to converse with police personnel.

To facilitate the investigation, police temporarily closed the intersection of Burlington Avenue and Cindy Lane. The area has since been reopened to traffic.

The Bristol Police Department has assigned its Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team to examine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
