Compton authorities have confirmed the identity of a woman whose death occurred on a local sidewalk. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the deceased as 45-year-old Monique Richardson. Her body was discovered on a sidewalk in the Compton area on the 24th of August. Responding emergency medical personnel from the Compton Fire Department arrived at the scene located on the 4200 block of East Compton Boulevard. They found an unconscious individual and pronounced her deceased at 5:36 p.m. that day. The official cause of death remains pending further examination by the medical professionals responsible for the investigation.
