Legal documents have now revealed the identity of the individual connected to a deadly shooting incident in Harriman. The 18-year-old victim, Holden Howse, was pronounced dead at the hospital following the event.
According to recent reports, the fatal shooting took place around 4:00 a.m. on a Saturday. Authorities responded to the scene at a Domino’s Pizza establishment located at 701 N. Roane Street, though initial accounts suggested the actual shooting occurred at a nearby Mr. Clean facility. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle proceeding along Highway 27, occupied by two individuals, one of whom was Riley Pawlick, the 17-year-old later identified through official channels.
Eyewitness accounts, as detailed in the documents, indicate that Riley Pawlick was involved in a social gathering at a garage area behind the pizza outlet. During this event, a gunshot was heard, prompting Pawlick to flee the scene with the other person accompanying him in a black 2013 Ford Focus. In the course of their departure, Pawlick discarded the weapon from a nearby bridge. This firearm was later described as modified with an extended ammunition clip, a tactical light, and rubber attachments.
Medical facilities in Roane County reported the admission of two individuals following the incident. Terre Lee sustained minor facial injuries, while Holden Howse, despite receiving prompt medical attention, did not survive. The ongoing probe uncovered additional testimonies, with Lee recounting that Pawlick had pointed a weapon at him prior to the shooting. Furthermore, witnesses stated that an altercation between Pawlick and Lee escalated, with the suspect allegedly loading the gun and inadvertently discharging it, resulting in Howse’s death.
Charges have been formally filed against Riley Pawlick, including second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and evidence tampering. The investigation remains active, with law enforcement continuing to gather information and statements from those connected to the incident.
